เป็นสารที่ช่วยหล่อลื่นในกระบวนการขึ้นรูปผลิตภัณฑ์พีวีซี
ช่วยพีวีซีสามารถขึ้นรูปได้ง่ายและผิวเรียบ สามารถแบ่งเป็น 2
ประเภท คือ 1 External lubricant ช่วยลดความเสียดทานและการเกาะติดระหว่างพีวีซีที่หลอมเหลวกับส่วนของเครื่องจักรที่เป็นโลหะร้อน
เช่นScrew, Barrel, Mould ตัวอย่างของสารหล่อลื่น เช่น Paraffin
waxes 2.Internal lubricant ช่วยลดความเสียดทานระหว่างอนุภาคของพีวีซีด้วยกันเองในระหว่างการหลอมตัวตัวอย่างของสารหล่อลื่นเช่น
Glycerol Mono Stearate (GMS) การเลือกใช้ชนิดและปริมาณของสารหล่อลื่นได้อย่างเหมาะสมจะช่วยลดปัญหาการไหม้ติดของพีวีซีในเครื่องจักรได้เป็นอย่างดี
Glycerol
monostearate, commonly known as GMS, is an organic molecule used as an
emulsifier. GMS is a colorless, odorless, and sweet-tasting flaky powder that
is hygroscopic. It is a glycerol ester of stearic acid. It occurs naturally in
the body as a by-product of the breakdown of fats, and is also found in fatty foods.
GMS
is a food additive used as a thickening, emulsifying, anti-caking, and
preservative agent; an emulsifying agent for oils, waxes, and solvents; a
protective coating for hygroscopic powders; a solidifier and control release
agent in pharmaceuticals; and a resin lubricant. It is also used in cosmetics
and hair care products.
GMS
is largely used in baking preparations to add "body" to the food. It
is responsible for giving ice cream and whipped cream its smooth texture. It is
sometimes used as an anti-staling agent in bread. Distilled Glycerol
Monotearate(Industrial grade) is
yellowish solid wax in flake or powder form, without odour and toxicity.
Applications
of GMS 1, As the necessary ingredient for compounding composite lead heat
stabilizers, functioning as the excellent internal lubricant compared with
stearic acid or PE waxes
In
U-PVC pipe and profile plastic industry, GMS can be directly used as the main
internal lubricant.
Also
as the anti-static agent for PE, ABS, PP products (e.g., plastic drums or
films)
In
textile and dyeing industry, GMS can effectively prevent discoloration and act
as the best softener in the fabrics. It also has effects of emulsification,
dispersion, foaming, defoaming, starch anti-aging and fat agglomeration
control, and is widely used in foodstuffs, cosmetic, medicine, oil
fielddrilling fluids.
Application
2. Use: Make with natural plant oil, as a high quality and efficiency food
additives, GMS/DMG is a good emulsifier, stabilizer, foamer, defoamer,
dispersant, lubricant and plasticizer widely used in the industry areas of
food, pharmacy, daily chemicals ,plastic, packaging and cosmetic etc.,It is a
safety food additives which is completely non-toxic and harmless, and there is
no restriction intake by the human body. For food use: it's good emulsifier and
stabilizer for cake, bread, instant noodles, biscuit, candy, chocolate, inc
cream, milk, cheese, pork luncheon meat etc.
For
plastic use: PVC lubricant, EPE foaming agent, PE antifogging agent
Others:
pharmacy and cosmetic use etc
